first of a series of photographs of the awe-inspiring walt disney concert hall in los angeles, california. it's blue steel at its finest.

my initial impulse was to name this half black heart, an obvious (or maybe not so) play on david usher's "black black heart". i thought it would be a landmark remembrance of an old friend harry [link] who initially introduced me to d. usher's work through one of his deviations, which seemed to have [mysteriously] disappeared from his gallery. i still see it in my mind though.

i know you probably wont remember me, but i was looking through my deviations and tidying them up and came across some messages from you and realised I never returned the favour as much as i should have (i think... i may have and forgotten but thats another story)...

you probably dont use DA anymore but i thought i'd come say hi and was amazed by this piece.... its truely stunning!

I like this picture for 3 reasons. the composition, the colors , and the fact that I would love to skate that rail. it looks very fun to me :D
