Literature Text

.
in almost perfect monochome of ice on ice
i wait here all alone
in frozen solitude.
my hands can't help but shiver,
for warmth escapes their clasp.
my body swiftly trembles
in unison with my soul.
and yet despite this stillness,
immobile harshness,
i remain.
and i await spring's sweet prelude
to summer's warm embrace.

.
sit still, wait.
don't let the freeze penetrate your soul.
